The Mile High Music Festival was a two-day concert held in Commerce City, Colorado on July 19 and 20, 2008. The festival was sponsored by flash memory company Sandisk and featured John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, The Black Crowes and Spoon as headliners. The concert was originally scheduled to be held at City Park in Denver (near the Denver Zoo), but changed because of opposition from zoo officials. ATT BlueRoom provided a Web cast for select artists. Organizers stated at the end of the 2008 event that they hope to hold another installment in 2009.
